Mount Gambier
Mount Gambier is a small city perched on the side of an eponymous volcano, almost exactly half way between Melbourne and Adelaide. Our stop was strictly a quickie and we didn't spend a whole lot of time there. Blue Lake sits in a volcanic crater and seasonally changes its color from cobalt blue to steel grey. The region is full of parks, gardens, caves, and sinkholes.
