The Wikipedia entry for Uluru

This five week stint was the second foray to Australia, trying to hit places missed on the previous trip. The big challenge was back-packing for a week in the outback. The walk around Uluru was ten clicks, with three more added on for a culture walk. Kuranda, thirty clicks north-west of Cairns, was also ten clicks but with ups and downs as well. Definitely a tongue-hanger-outer for us geriatrics.
