Whale Watching
The Bay of Fundy has numerous smaller bays around its edges and is very fractal looking. It took about an hour to get from St. Andrews' little bay out to where the whales hang out. These particular whales are the humpback. Our expedition was with "Island Quest" whose crew was terrific. The captain did a great job keeping close to the whales without approaching them, which is against federal law. But he would anticipate where they would surface and position the boat accordingly. Consequently, most of the time we were quite close to them.
