Bombers
The museum has a large number of bombers. Some are flown regularly and others are in bits and pieces. For example, the Fairchild Bolingbroke IVT is being rebuilt from the remains of eight abandoned siblings. One of the most popular bombers is the Avro Lancaster, a four engine heavy duty bomber seeing service during World War II. They were flown in the raid immortalized as "The Dam Busters". Seventeen survive. It's one of the most popular flights provided by the museum, notwithstanding its $3600CAD price per person.
