Museum Displays
There are large numbers of airplanes scattered about the museum in various stages of restoration. Some are air-worthy, some are skeletons, and others are piles of parts. All the work is being done by volunteers, reflecting a very wide range of skill sets. A large number of parts have to be machined from blue-prints or from the knowledge of those who have done it before. Other parts can be repaired. Instruments are a special challenge. It is a huge labor of love.
